Nearly all our readers and writers have chosen several different pathways for themselves- often living in several different communities and countries and environments and many have had challenging non standard lives which have lifted them out of the conventional in the box thinking to being able to see a wider and more long term cohesive and holistic picture of the world informed by deep practicality. Further we are a learning organisation and we never stop learning together.

Most importantly we have fun doing this and its very very uplifting to be able to change world narratives on a variety of connected survivability issues, from the Green Economy to the idea of halving our carbon  equivalent useage by 2o25  and to women’s unequal pay and poverty… we set the sphere of the global discussions again and again. We have a range of over 100 publications, from the worlds very first and most influential Green Academic Journal, the International Journal of Green Economics, to our members networking magazine The Green Economist, our charity networking magazine, The Green Trustee and our Academic Conference Proceedings from all our many conferences held at Oxford University, our policy statement and information downloads, and our videos and flickr library pictures. In these books you can hear the views, voices and opinions of up to 40 different people from all walks of life, unedited, and from all the parts of the globe, so that you can start to have a really global perspective, from someone in Bhuttan who needs sanitation, to mental health issues in the mountain communities of Nepal, to the destruction of hurricanes in the Caribean or Fiji, to Migration in Sicily and how local people help, or Technical change towards a lower carbon life style in Norway and also the effect of the melting ice on the Sami people in the arctic.

Its all there in our books, original authentic voices, way beyond what you normally read in the worlds media which is dependent on money, power and big business. We are a not for profit group and we work to ensure the world lasts and that its benevolent and fit to last, we advise governments from some of the very very largest to the very very smallest. We are not funded by any one or any group but exist with small individual donations and book sales and conference ticket sales, which means we can say what we really think and probably what you are really thinking but are either afraid to say or cant find a platform to say because it doesnt make money or line someone else’s pocket.
